A brain injury caused by a blow to the head or body alters the way the brain works and causes symptoms like headaches and dizziness. Loss of consciousness does not always occur upon receiving a concussion.
Hockey, among other sports, is a leading cause of concussions in young players today. Our goal is to train athletes in the prevention of this injury.
In the event of a concussion, our treatment plan is specifically designed to help injured athletes return to sport and everyday activities in a shorter period with maximum recovery.

WE TREAT CONCUSSIONS! We are seeing great results with our new concussion protocols from SHIFT concussion management. It is truly satisfying for us to witness the rapid recoveries which allow return to work, school, and sport safely.

Concussion Awareness and Management

The concussion awareness seminar is presented by Dr. Shayne Baylis (Doc Hockey) and is available to all organizations and teams wanting better education about concussion assessment, management, and treatment.
