What is a concussion?

A brain injury caused by a blow to the head or body which alters the way the brain works and causes symptoms like headaches and dizziness.  Loss of consciousness does not always occur upon receiving a concussion.

Hockey, among other sports, is a leading cause of concussions in young players today.  Our goal is to train athletes in the prevention of this injury.

In the event of a concussion our treatment plan is specifically designed to help injured athletes return to sport and everyday activities in a shorter period of time with maximum recovery.
