Dr. Shayne Baylis 'Doc Hockey'

Dr. Shayne Baylis received his first degree, a bachelor of science in Biology, from Niagara University. He later graduated with honours from the New York Chiropractic College. 

Dr. Baylis was drafted in 2000 to the Ottawa 67's but declined to accept a scholarship to the NCAA Division 1 hockey program at Niagara University where he played from 2001 to 2005. Upon completion of his second degree, he was invited to try out for the Syracuse Crunch in American Hockey League. Most recently he played professionally in 2009 with the Columbus Cottonmouths before beginning his health care career in Ottawa. In addition to providing sports-based therapies, he is an on-ice instructor with Endeavour Sports Group. 

Dr. Baylis’ lifelong passion for hockey has led him to specialize in the prevention, recovery, and treatment of NHL players and other professional athletes.

Dr. Andrew Creppin

Dr. Andrew Creppin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in human kinetics. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), graduating Summa Cum Laude and with clinic honours.

During his time at CMCC, he began to develop an interest in treating and training competitive athletes. Dr. Creppin became a certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider through McMaster University, and is Smart Tools certified. Dr. Creppin grew up in the east end of Ottawa playing competitive hockey and soccer for the Gloucester organizations. He played 5 years in the Central Canada Hockey League then played Division I and CIS hockey in university. Dr. Creppin practices an individualized, evidenced-based and functional approach to all patients to not only fix current problems, but to prevent them from future re-injury. Each patient will receive a personalized treatment plan including passive care, functional rehabilitation and patient education. His goal is to have each patient performing optimally no matter what his or her goals are.
